We did have reservations booking a 2 star hotel but from the photos and previous reviews decided to give it a go and we are so pleased we did. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy The shower rooms are clean and modern. Plenty of hot water and toiletries Separate children's sleeping mezzanine was a huge hit Great to have a TV and be able to watch some of the Olympics (even though non of us speak french) The buffet breakfast was brilliant value for money. Good but basic selection of cheese, meat, eggs, bacon and cereals, pastries, bread, yogurts, juices and tea and coffee

The hotel is most conveniently located near the railway station and port area. It fortunately has a room for 5 adults.Although no frills, it is very clean, with adequate facilities. An excellent breakfast at extra cost is available. They also have microwavable meals which are tasty and nutitious. For the price, the hotel is very good value.

The hotel is well located in the city centre just 10 min walk, lovely staff, easy instructions, great communication, good space in the room and in the car park. The family room had two floors, plenty of space. There was a microwave downstairs that I found it very helpful.

I prefer the layout of B&B La Rochelle to others. Larger room with corner desk area, reception area with seating, vending machines, and microwave. Also small outdoor terrace. Location is great next to the cycle path & within walking distance to the station and town centre and harbour (the beaches are a bit further.). Helpful staff.

Very central location, 5 mins walk from the harbour with it's restaurants and bars. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Paid €10 for the private car park and charged my car overnight for free!!! Superb spot with a great staff and a great breakfast too!!!

Price, opposite train station, 5 minutes walk to centre of town, tea/coffee facilities.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is very conveniently located near the train station. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional. Hotel was mostly quiet.

The rooms are standard but OK. The hotel is very near the station. The stuff is very kind.

Had problems with delayed flight which made me miss the first night but I asked them to keep the room open so I could check in on arrival early morning, there was no problem with this. Its across the road from the train station which is good and its within easy distance of the harbour fronts.
